Getting Your Groove Back - Life Balance Series - Step 8

This is the final post of the Getting Your Groove Back Life Balance Series.
Today focus on aligning with the laws of attraction by authoring your agreement with the Universe.
In my opinion, part of the brilliance of The Secret’s Law of Attraction presentation is when Bob Proctor and crew recommend that you write a detailed description of your ideal life on paper. This fun project allows for absolutely everything and anything that will bring you true joy and light up the path to the life of your dreams.
Your agreement begins with …
I am ______ and I am grateful to have unlimited abundance in my life.
Commit to paper all of the things that you are truly thankful for.
The first sentence leads to writing about your life in the present tense.
For example:
I am Shann Vander Leek and I’m grateful to be an extremely successful personal coach, author and yoga instructor. I inspire women in transition to live well balanced lives on there terms through coaching, yoga and creative expression. I live in my dream home with my healthy and loving family in northern Michigan. I enjoy traveling the world teaching Luscious Living Playshops.
You get the drift …
Groovy Action Plan:
Author your agreement with the universe this week. If the word “universe” seems a bit too esoteric, think of it this way. You are writing a positive agreement with yourself and your higher power.
After you spend some time waxing poetic about your magical life, add your masterpiece to your desktop so you can read it everyday. Post an abbreviated version on your bathroom mirror and on your refrigerator.
Posting your magical plans in several places makes it easier for you to keep your wishes top of mind. This simple exercise will reprogram your brain for positive action.
It’s been my experience that written agreements and affirmations can be incredibly powerful.
Share you agreement with your best friend or your spouse. Begin to believe in your dreams and live the life you’ve always wanted to live.

Getting Your Groove Back - Life Balance Series - Step 6

Where ever you are … Focus on the beauty of your natural surroundings.
Invite mother nature into your world.
Infuse your life with peace and balance by immersing yourself in the natural surroundings of your community.
We spend so much time working, talking on the phone, emailing, text messaging and commuting. All of these activities deplete our energy.
Recharging your spirit can be as easy as a walk in the woods or local park.
I am grateful to live in northern Michigan - surrounded by Lake Michigan, hundreds of rivers, forests and an abundance of natural integrity.
I recommend bringing nature inside to lift your spirits.
Our home is filled with fresh flowers, rock collections, driftwood, birch paper, pine cones, shells, acorns. Most of our walls are decorated with pictures of water, skies and flowers.
How can you surround yourself with more natural beauty?
Groovy Action Plan:
- Take a picture of a favorite tree, stream, flower, natural vista etc.
- Become an observer of nature every day.
- Watch a sunrise or sunset.
- Get outside and walk in a natural setting.
