“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice.” - T.S. Eliot
2010 is slipping away and the promise of a new year is here. I suggest taking a moment to think about all that you have accomplished. All too often we let the year slip away focusing on what we want to improve in the coming year, without observing the personal growth, milestones and transitions we just experienced.
What adventures and experiences are you most grateful for in 2010?
I suggest making a list that begins with: In 2010 I experienced and am grateful for…
In no particular order, here are 13 items that came to mind for me.
- Made it a priority to be more mindful and aware of my actions.
- Enjoyed the company of my friends and family.
- Opened my heart to allow for and receive more loving kindness.
- Learned how to quiet my “pinball wizard” mind through breathing and guided meditation.
- Enjoyed capturing photographic images of the north country.
- Created True Balance Press and published my first book, Life on Your Terms.
- Designed the Life on Your Terms Accelerator Series to support the new book.
- Created a new community blog to support aspiring entrepreneurs.
- Made my first television appearance and was a featured columnist in several magazines.
- Created a dynamic signature speech to launch my inspirational speaking debut.
- Contributed to A Juicy Joyful Life, a Best Selling book under “Hot New Releases” at Amazon.
- Effortlessly Attracted international life coaching clients.
- Created a new Get Focused Now Mastermind for powerful women in business.
- Created several extraordinary alliances with powerful entrepreneurs.
- Recorded guided meditation, yoga and stress relieving podcasts for Anxiety Slayer.
- Became a lot closer to replacing my corporate America income via life coaching, writing and teaching yoga playshops.
I am filled with an abundance of gratitude for all of the blessings in my life.

What am I grateful for from last year? I haven’t given that much thought. So will.
1. Three friends cams to live with me for most the year.
2. My parent’s estate was virtually wrapped up.
3. Some amazing steps were taken towards moving into an RV full time.
4. I came to peace with life alone.
5. I saw a future again.
6. I remembered many things I’d forgotten.
7. Seems I’ve lived to tell about it. rofl
That is all I can think of off the top of my head.

It’s definitely hard to keep things in balance! Between work, family, and about a million things in between, this year I’m going to try and keep my priorities in check and make sure everything is as balanced as it can be
